An MCIT client was transitioning to Microsoft 365, and OneDrive was going to be their new home for cloud storage. To support this change, I was asked to create a quickstart guide that would help staff get oriented quickly.

The first page features an annotated screenshot of the OneDrive interface, labeling each button and explaining its function at a glance. The second page reinforces key tasks—uploading files, sharing, and copying links—with step-by-step instructions paired with visuals. The goal was a document people could reference in the moment, not a manual they'd need to study.

Core Specialty was in the early stages of implementing Cornerstone as their learning management system. As part of the rollout, I was asked to create job aids covering the tasks that administrators and end users would need to perform on a regular basis.

This guide is one example from a series of 26 that I developed. Each follows the same format: numbered steps on the left, annotated screenshots on the right, and clear visual hierarchy so users can find what they need at a glance. The consistency across the series meant that once someone used one guide, they knew exactly how to use all of them.

As FTTS switched away from a more traditional (and less secure) email/password combination for authentication, we needed a guide to walk everyone in the company through the setup process for passwordless authentication.

This guide was delivered to every employee with the expectation that setup could be done simply by following the steps in the guide and with minimal or zero assistance from support staff. The guide turned out to be a great success and staff were easily able to switch into the more secure authentication method mandated by our latest security policy.
